1. Introduction

Welcome to StartDPP (the “Service”), operated by MAHI AHMED ECOMTECH(“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the StartDPP website and services.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Description of Service

StartDPP provides a Digital Product Passport (DPP) preparation, generation, publishing, and archiving tool. The Service allows users to enter product data, generate DPP pages and QR codes, export data, and archive DPPs. StartDPP is not a certification body, not a notified organism, and does not provide legal compliance guarantees.

4. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Paddle (our Merchant of Record). Payments are processed securely by Paddle. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. We may change prices with notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. User Data

You retain all rights to the product data you submit. You grant us the right to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your data.

7. Data Portability

You can export your data at any time via the dashboard. We provide an “Export All Data” feature for easy data portability. There is no vendor lock-in.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious content, or to attempt to disrupt the Service. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service. DPPs created with StartDPP do not constitute a guarantee of product compliance with the ESPR or any other regulation.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless you have exported it.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
